Very charming camping in the Maritime Alps
About as far as you can get by car into the Maritime Alps this camping lies between a river and the edge of the forest, with mountains all around. We stayed there with 2 persons and a tent for €12,- per night. There are no fancy facilities like a swimming pool or whatever (although there is a river of course), only a tiny bar and market, but the atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff very charming. There are plenty of options for day walks or longer treks in the area, where you can see many wild animals like ibex and chamois. I have no children, but the ones I saw at the camping were loving it. If you need to get away and enjoy nature, this place comes highly recommended.
