The best site near Lake Annecy
Superbly located 500 metres from lake. Site got busy towards the end of June but still quiet at night. Caring owners will not tolerate any contravention of regulations. 100 metres from dedicatated cycle path (piste cyclable) which is approx. 20 miles long. We cycled into the centre of Annecy (11 miles) without having to ride on a main road, ideal for enthusiasts and families alike, plenty of places to picnic en route.
Fresh bread supplied daily, shop stocks small range of groceries, take away with limited menu. Good restaurants within walking distance, supermarket at Doussard, 2 miles. Clean modern toilet block, good pool with separate waterslide and sunbathing area. The friendly and helpfull staff all spoke English.
