First, there is the atmosphere, the feeling that the Gorges du Tarn is one of the few place that have not been disfigured by ugly buildings and vacation resorts. Then, there is the campsite, with a kind, laid-back, authentic owner who shares with you his anecdotes, love of the region and knowledge of surrounding motorcycle and hiking trails. The place is also cheap compared with other campsites and the campsite lots are in the shade, with nice view of the gorges. All of this made of my stay there a real pleasure, between canoe and mountain climbing adventure and the relaxation on the shores of the Tarn river. I highly recommend this campsite.
