| Superb location staff and facilities |
| We have visited La Marende 3 times to date and have had a fantastic family holiday each time. We stumbled upon it quite by chance the first time whilst holidaying on a farm in the Pyrenees. We had taken the tent to spend a weekend by the sea to keep our 2 young sons happy. At the end of the weekend we didn't want to leave! We went back the next year and the year after that for a fortnight each time - this time in a mobile home. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.The location is perfect as it is virtually on the beach with just the beach access road between the campsite and the beach car park. The swimming pool doesn't have any slides but at least you can let the children go for a swim without worrying about them drowning while you are sipping Catalan Sangria on your veranda!The entertainment is especially good which you can choose to take part in or not - (no loud music to keep you awake) but Bernard who runs all the activities is very entertaining ( he also teaches scuba diving in the swimming pool). We will definately return to La Marende many times as there is also so much to see in the surrounding area. Apart from there being a karting track and a funfair a few hundred metres down the road, Spain is only 10km away and Andorra is couple of hours drive into the mountains - you can have very diverse experiences all in the same holiday! |
