The small group of individual wooden chalets provides you with private and intimate accommodation overlooking the snowy Rila mountains, situated in the village of Govedartsi. We provide you with an ideal base for your ski holiday in the Bulgarian resort of Borovets but away from the crowds. The ski slope is only 300 meters away with nursery slope plus a red/blue run.
In Goverdartsi village, the chalets are the gateway to walking and enjoying the forests, mountains, lakes and rivers in the Rila mountains.

5 individual spacious chalets, each with en suite shower,toilet and heated towel rail. Each chalet sleeps 2 - 3 people. You have your own private space with a balcony overlooking a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
The Iskar hotel provides a large open plan space for relaxing and enjoying eating and drinking with fellow guests. It's the hub of activity in the evening after a day of fun on the slopes or from returning from the mountains.
The open plan lounge area has been designed with comfy sofas for relaxing, with large TV, DVD and CD player for your entertainment. We also have a bar area for serving refreshments. You can choose to sit and read, chat or join in board games depending on your mood.
We will organise all your skiing needs, we have brand new skis and boot to hire to our guests, plus, passes and lessons which are all arranged in the chalets. Cost £155 for adults and £115 for children.

During the ski season
Three Course evening meal served to very high English standards. Vegetarians welcome.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the cosy restaurant, served by your chalet hosts. This is unique in the ski season for the Borovets resort.

Guestbook: We were really really sorry to leave - it was a wonderful, relaxing, holiday and we felt really at home and settled in straight away, watching the DVDs and playing games by the fire in the evening, it was gorgeous.
As for Borovets, I'm glad we didn't stay in the resort itself, it seems a little seedy with all the girlie bars etc, but it was fine for the ski-ing and we had some good lunches there during the day time. I suppose it depends on the individual, but going on holiday in a group like we did meant that we were happier to stay in the living room at Iskar hanging out with each other, rather than going out round the bars of Borovets at night.
The food cooked was great; the soups were defiantly a winner, the chocolate mousse and the meat balls!
The accommodation was great also it was warm and cosy, the games and DVD's are a great addition for the common area and we made full use of them in the evenings.
J was a fantastic host she was so friendly and the whole group felt like she was interested in our welfare. The food she cooked was great; the soups were defiantely a winner.
