Each of our rooms has its own balcony with superb sea viewsquality furnighings & fittings, crisp linen and extr comfy beds. Having lived here for over 20 years we are proud of our local knowledge, passionate about where we live and love to share it all with you.
Spend your days exploring the Bay of Islands, visit historic Waitangi, Russell or take a tour to 90 Mile Beach. Play a round of golf, walk our picturesque walkways, sail, swim, dive, kayak or just laze at one of the many sandy beaches just a stroll from us.
Why not just enjoy your balcony, read and watch the yachts sail past, take a plunge into our heated pool, soak in the hot spa or work out the gym? What better way to recharge the batteries.
Our chalet consists of 1 B&B Queen-room and 2 fully self-contained King-size apartment/suites furnished with light and friendly colours reflecting the sea and scenery. TV, CD player, DVD/video and phones in each room/apartment, laundry facilities, internet and tour desk on site.
We also operate a 42-foot yacht for skippered charters.

We had the best ending of our NZ travels at Chalet Romantica. The hostess Inge is a jewel. Edi rounds the picture of harmony and hospitality. We also enjoyed the delicious meals at Swiss Cafe. All in all, the best B&B in New Zealand.
