Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this enchanting Inn is surrounded by lush English gardens along Cape Cods historic and scenic country highway, Route 6A. A four course gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the comfortably elegant breakfast room on a shining mahogany table dressed with sparkling American and English silver. The light and lovely guest rooms are decorated with antiques, white wicker and luxurious linens. Each guest room is air-conditioned and has an oversized marble shower, complimented by English toiletries, and fluffy terry robes. Beautifully renovated and redecorated over the past three years, Honeysuckle Hill has all the grace of its heritage: wide-planked floors, ship's captain's staircase, wonderful ceiling angles, curving hallways and a wraparound front porch where you can start your day with morning coffee, or retreat to in the afternoon and evening for complimentary drinks and interesting conversation.
Your hosts, Freddy and Ruth Riley, take pride in offering you excellent accommodations in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Freddy, an English master gardener and chef, is at your beck and call to provide concierge services and will entertain you with his splendid British wit. The inn is open year-round. | Tucked into a pocket of pristine woods and colorful perennial gardens along scenic Rt. 6A, in historic West Barnstable, Massachusetts, the Inn is near to the beach, ferries for Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket and is an easy one hour drive to Boston or Providence. All guest rooms have private baths with Asquith and Somerset amenities, hairdryers, individual controls for heat and air conditioning, featherbeds, LCD TVs, and wireless internet access. Fresh-cut flowers in every room, many grown in our own gardens.
