Spring Bayou Inn…a turn of the century charmer offering unique architectural detail with wrap around porch, heart-of-pine woodwork, parlor with baby grand piano & 6 spacious rooms all with private attached baths, TV’s, wireless internet, 2 breakfast choices & more. Breakfast served in our dining room, or in your room for a private, leisurely breakfast.
A special gourmet breakfast is served at 9am prepared by Innkeeper, graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School—Basic Cuisine. Due to advance preparation with our breakfasts, prior notice of not eating appreciated. A light & healthy continental breakfast may be served between 7:30-8:30 with prior request.
Stroll ½ block to the waterfront park with paved trails, tennis & shuffleboard courts & a boat launch. 1 block away is the historical shopping district featuring antique & specialty stores, eateries & pubs.
Tarpon Springs is known as the “Sponge Capital of the World” where today you’ll find a historic community rich in Greek history yet with a quiet charm not easily found along the busy West Coast of FL. Take a trolley to the original sponge docks where working sponge boats are docked and enjoy shopping, ethnic bakeries & fine local restaurants.
Enjoy the beauty of our 2 local beaches, many city events or drive to Honeymoon Island State Park for nature hikes. Golf Courses, Pinellas Bike Trail, fishing & diving are some of the area attractions. It is an easy drive to the area major Florida attractions such as Bush Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, and Lowry Park Zoo. Disney World, Sea World & Universal Studios are a short drive away.
Reservations: Deposit required of ½ of First Night Stay for Nightly rentals; ½ of First Week Stay for Weekly Rentals. Cash or Personal Check (preferred) or Credit Card received within 10 days. Your deposit is refunded in full only if we are able to rerent your room.
Check In Time: Between 4pm & 6pm. Please contact the Inn if deviations are necessary to this time.
Check Out Time: 11 am
Pets & Children: Inquire. Well behaved children accompanied by their parents are usually not a problem and most appropriate in the Palm Bedroom. The Hibiscus Room is our pet friendly room. Our pets usually stay in our quarters but may visit if you like.

I had the excellent fortune of working in the Tarpon Springs area recently...and found an absolute gem in the Spring Bayou Inn!
The Innkeepers Sherri and Bill are wonderful; the Inn itself takes you back to a time when everything moved slower. They are excellent hosts and work very hard to make your stay enjoyable!
The breakfasts were splendid in that they were very fresh, full of flavor and everyday was something new. Breakfast was a very relaxed and effortless occasion. Bill is an outstanding cook!
I will be staying with Sherri and Bill again and have recommended them and the Spring Bayou Inn to several co-workers, friends, and family.

This was our first experience at a B&B. We are used to the amenties of large hotels, but couldn't find one close enough or with a large enough suite to accommodate separate sleeping for two (noisy) toddlers.
At the Inn, we had the Efficiency (with 1 bedroom and roomy kitchen) and the Palm Room (a second attached bedroom), which was perfect for a family of 4, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play even without a separate sitting room. Plus there is a playground and restaurants within walking distance, and a beautiful family beach only 10 minutes away.
The rooms and furnishings were quaint and clean, the house breakfast a gourmet treat, and the hosts were very accommodating without being too obvious a presence. The cost was about 25% less than a smaller suite at a chain hotel in a nearby commercial area. So the Spring Bayou Inn turned out to be the most wonderful choice for us!
