Guestbook: Very friendly; great property; professional.Felt like coming home.
Carwarden house is full of charm and beauty, and is a pleasure to simply admire. It is not modernized or trumped up with excessive decorating; the items in the house are truly those that belonged to Mary's family
Carwarden is one of the highlights of our trips to Nova Scotia and this was our fifth stay. We have never been disappointed with it and in fact it is one of the main resons we return to NS year on year.
I loved the house and think it is a particularaly good example of the early 20th century houses of the Annapolis Valley. Mary has beautifully preserved the integrity of the house.
The ambience of this old home was lovely and untampered with.
It was fabulous. Mary McMahon was a superb hostess. The property was lovely, and the visits very enjoyable.
This is a superb lodging. We have stayed in many B&Bs throughout North America and Europe, and we rate this as the very best we've ever encountered. The home itself is gorgeous, the rooms wonderfully comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the proprietor has a lovely personality. We would return there in a heartbeat. |
