Our Tourist Home is similar to a bed and breakfast the only difference is the guests staying have the whole house to themselves at night. I return in the morning from next door to cook the breakfast. We are central between Saint John the city and St. Martins the village, approximately 25 minute in either direction, east of the Saint John airport. We are located in a very beautiful area out in the rural part of Saint John county next to the Bay of Fundy, where the views from every window of our home overlook the water and the smell of fresh bay air drifts throughout the house. Walking distance of one of the beaches and a short drive away form the other two beaches in the area. We provide the kitchen facilities for our guest to use and the laundry facilities if needed. Motorcyclist, are welcomed with a secured garage for their bikes to be parked ,along with amenities for their use. Homecooked sweets and tea and coffee available throughout the day as well.Large front veranda with seating, over looking the water and a back patio to relax on with seating. Fire pit for bon fires in the evenings is a great family favorite. Children love this spot and I enjoy having them. Lots of area to play in.
No one has ever left our home hungry after having our country breakfast,which consists of homemade bread,jellies, eggs the way you like them,pancakes, french toast,fruit salad,cereal, bacon, ham, sausage what ever you wish and more.
Handy to the different hiking and biking trails such as Fundy Trail Parkway in St. Martins and the Irving Nature Park in Saint John. Golfing is avaiable in the Saint John area also at Rockwood Park. Jet boat rides through the famous Reversing Falls, is a popular activity for the young at heart. Shopping for the ladies with much to choose from- small boutiques, craft stores, malls,Saint John city market,farmers markets,and more.
Being centrally located in the lower part of the province makes it only short drives to almost any where in the lower end of the province of New Brunswick. Two hours to St, Stephens, one hour to Sussex, one hour and a half to Moncton, Shediac, one and one half hours to Fredericton. Three hours to Prince Edward Island. Two hours to Nova Scotia. |
