A wonderful Welsh welcome awaits you at our 3* B&B Laugharne. The ancient township of Laugharne is on the coast, with wonderful views and walks, conveniently situated as a touring base for West Wales. Our friendly, family run B&B is within a short walking distance of Dylan Thomas Boathouse', the castle and estuary. Refreshments served on arrival.We have two letting bedrooms, a double (overlooking our orchard garden) and a twin, which can be let as a single with no extra supplement. Each room contains t.v. mini-fridge, bathrobes, basin, adjustable central heating tea and coffee making facilities. The spacious bathroom with shower solely for the use of our guests is situated on the same floor. Guests are also welcome to use our sitting room, (log fires in cold weather) and our orchard garden. Cycles can be locked away in the shed. Fresh local produce is used where ever possible in our breakfasts, dietry needs can be catered for with prior notice.
Pick up from bus and train station can be arranged, at Carmarthen, St. Clears and Whitland, at a small cost of £6. Plenty of reading material, walking maps, magazines and books, if you are a fan of Dylan Thomas we have plenty of material, books, C.D.s and tapes available The spacious bathroom with shower is on the same floor and for sole use of guests, our sitting room and orchard garden can be used by guests. There is a lock up shed for cycles. Special dietry needs can be catered for.

The Cors (No. 1 Romantic Place in Wales) according to The Times, 11.2.06 is just across the road. open, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for meals.
Many other excellent places to eat, restaurants, pubs, tea rooms and a Fish and Chip Shop all just a short walk away. Broadway Mansion and Hurst House are a short drive away. |
