The Guest Rooms
The rooms consist of two spacious double rooms with adjoining small single room. Both rooms have sea views over looking Dunnottar Castle. One of the bedrooms is tasteful with en-suite shower room with large wall mirror, shaver point and heated towel rail.
The second room has a spacious private (not en-suite) traditional country house bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Each room also has its own tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, fresh towels daily and of course the all important comfortable beds.
The double room with single attached can be used as twin rooms. |

By Road
We are situated on the right and are marked by a red circle.
From Stonehaven town centre follow the signs South for Dunnottar Castle (A92). Once reached, we are opposite the Castle car park.
If you are coming from the South, from the ( A90 )motorway take the first turn off to Stonehaven, stay on the road for 1.5 miles and turn left at the Dunnottar Castle sign. As you drive you will see the castle on your right and we are opposite. It's well sign posted!
By Air
The nearest airport is Aberdeen which is located approximately 20 miles north of Stonehaven. Aberdeen is well served by both national and international flights. The easiest way of getting to Stonehaven from Aberdeen Airport is by Taxi. The cost of a local (Stonehaven) taxi journey between Dunnottar Mains and the airport is £30.00 approx.
We would recommend that you phone a local Stonehaven taxi before you fly and request that they meet you outside the airport. We tend to use Sandys on +44(0)1569 762258. Booking a Stonehaven taxi has the advantages of being cheaper and you do not have to stand in the queue for the Airport Taxis.

| Welcome Pack: On arrival you will be greeted by the proprietor and shown around the house. |
The dining room is in a traditional farmhouse style and you can be guaranteed a substantial breakfast, which consists of fruit juice, choice of cereals, sausage, bacon, egg, mushroom and tomatoes; followed by tea or coffee, toast and a choice of marmalades and jams.
Continental tastes are also catered for on request and consists of yoghurts, fruit, cheese and ham.
