Waters Edge is a unique haven of character and warmth in an idyllic position, the garden goes down to the sea. The sitting room is furnished with antiques posy bowls of garden flowers and when the log fire in the inglenook fireplace is blazing it is just such a relaxing place to be. Two windows in the sitting room have a spectacular outlook over the sea, French doors lead to a delightful courtyard. Our three double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms each with a bath and shower are luxurious and very special....wonderfully comfy beds, fine linen and fluffy bathrobes. Each bedroom has a large balcony with truly magnificent views over the sea, the harbour and the hills towards Culloden. Breakfast is a delight, we try very hard to source as much local produce as we can find with many choices for you to enjoy at the table over looking the sea. Dolphins and seals and an otter are regular visitors to the waterfront at Water's Edge. We promise all a genuine warm welcome and Scottish hospitality at its very best ... peace, relaxation and warmth. Water's Edge is here for you to enjoy. Fortrose is a Scottish fishing village with a delightful small harbour, yacht club and Golf links course . There are two excellent restaurants just a few minutes walk from the house, along with a village pub, coffee shop, usual village shops and a quality antique shop. |
