The Chesterfield is a friendly, family run, guest house located in the heart of Torquay within walking distance to the Seafront, Conference Centre, Theatre, Torre Abbey and Town Centre.
We have 10 en-suite rooms, consisting of Double, Twin and Family rooms which are individually decorated, with co-ordinating furnishings. Every room has central heating, beverage making facilities, Colour TV and complimentary toiletries. Hairdyers and ironing facilities are available upon request.
We have a comfortable licensed lounge for guest use, where you can enjoy the company of new found friends whilst enjoying a drink, or just relax whilst reading a book or planning your day ahead.
In our pleasantly decorated dining room, guests are served a freshly cooked English breakfast at individual tables. Lighter alternatives and vegetarian options are available.
The Chesterfield is ideally placed for all local amenities, restaurants,and attractions that Torbay has to offer.
The beautiful thatched village of Cockington is close by. Here you can observe the craftsmanship of the local blacksmith and the intricate skills of the glassblowers in the arts and craft section. Or why not just enjoy one of their renowned cream teas.
At the Harbour you will find a variety of seafaring activities, such as fishing trips, ferries to Brixham and Dartmouth and evening cruises.
For those wishing to explore South Devon, we are within easy reach of the Coach, bus and railway stations.
