Newton House is easily located as it is on the main road at #31 Newton Road 8 minutes walk to Torquay town center and 15 minutes to the seafront. It is opposite the TORRE RAILWAY STATION and the national bus coach station is nearby. STAGECOACH buses going in and around Devon can be taken just outside our door.
Newton House is a Tudor-style attractive house with a large private car park that can accommodate 15 cars. We have an attractive garden with a parasol for outdoor seating.
We have 9 clean luxury en-suite bedrooms, with central heating, colour TV, tea/coffee, Guest Lounge, separate Dining Room.
Newton House is a a peaceful Non-Smoking B&B, awarded 3STARS by the AA B&B Quality Standard.

Approaching Torquay from Exeter direction, take A380 to Torbay. Continue for 14 miles, past Penn-Inn Roundabout (Newton Abbott), through Kingskerswell (Newton Road), towards Torquay.
After Kingskerswell is a roundabout with “English Riviera” written in flowers on the roadside. A380 Torbay Ring-road turns off to the right but you go straight ahead (A3022 dual carriageway, “Riviera Way”), for about another mile. You pass through 6 sets of traffic lights.
Approaching the 6th set of lights, you can see “Halfords” sign and Torre Railway Station, on the right. Move into the left lane. At the 6th lights, bear left through the green filter arrow. 30 yards past the lights, the first B&B on the left side (No.31 Newton Road), is Newton House. |
