Our eighteenth century listed house faces the village green of Folkingham, Linchttolnshire's most handsome conservation village. A warm and comfortable family home attractively furnished in period style, the White House retains many original features including open fires. Bedrooms, with four-poster or kingsized beds, are spacious and include many extras; light and airy private bathrooms. Healthy, generous breakfasts, and dinners by arrangement. Meals can be served in the walled garden in warm weather.
Folkingham is an excellent base for visiting the many historic houses nearby, Belton House, Belvoir Castle, Burghley House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Woolsthorpe Manor, Doddington Hall, and Stamford, a fascinating and beautiful old market town. There are interesting gardens, good country walks and a magnificent collection of old churches in the villages nearby.
