Creston Villa is located at the southern gateway to the Historic City of Lincoln. With views to the east overlooking the South Common and to the west looking towards the Trent Valley, our B&B has the best of both beautiful landscapes and a vibrant community.
Most major approach roads to Lincoln link up with the bypass. Simply follow signposts to the A46 to Newark until you reach the roundabout adjacent to Pennell's Garden Centre and the Bentley Hotel at the start of the dual carriageway.
Take the first exit sign posted A1434 Lincoln City Centre. Follow this road for four miles and you will pass Creston Villa on your left just after the traffic lights opposite the South Common. Turn left into Colegrave Street and then left again into Derby Street. The car park entrance is on the left.

Relax on arrival with complementary refreshments in our spacious and peaceful guest lounge where you can prepare for tomorrow's meetings or plan your day out exploring the historic city of Lincoln. This room is free of television and radio to ensure guests have a quiet haven to relax in at the end of the day. There are plenty of magazines and books to browse through.
Whilst of course there is a complementary tray in your bedroom, we encourage our guests to make use of the house on a 'home from home'. In the breakfast room there is always tea and coffee making facilities with orange juice, milk and bottled water in the guest fridge. Just to make it a little more like home there is always a plentiful supply of cakes and fruit and we invite you to avail yourself of these refreshments at any time of the day or night.
For the comfort of all our guests, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the Guesthouse.
If you have your wireless-enabled laptop with you, then browse the internet via our 10Mb Broadband facility with our complements. If you need to print emails or reports, then a colour printer is available to guests. Guests not travelling with a laptop can make use of our Internet Access Station in the lounge.
Off-street car parking is provided for all guests (height and width restrictions may apply to larger vehicles) with ample space for alighting in safety. The car park is well lit and a safe and secure place to leave the car.
If you are travelling by bus or train, let us know your arrival time in advance and we will be delighted to offer you a free pick up and drop off service (subject to availability) to and from your arrival point.
We invite you to eat your first meal of the day in peaceful surroundings where a full English or continental breakfast is served to the relaxing sounds of light classical music. Enjoy the freshly pressed, large linen napkins, elegant cutlery and round tables and tub chairs where elbow room is ample.
Wherever we can, your breakfast will be cooked with locally produced or sourced ingredients. We are delighted to offer beef, traditional Lincolnshire sausage or, for the more adventurous, a poacher sausage made with Lincolnshire cheese and honey.
These delicacies, along with our thickly cut, dry cured bacon are all specialities of one of Lincoln's award winning butchers trading in the historic Bailgate area of the city. To complete your breakfast, select from a choice of eggs from free range chickens, prepared to your taste. Coffee and tea is served with fresh wholemeal and white toast, croissants or bagels. Sample the delights of homemade jams and preserves as you complete your meal.
Our licensed bar is open from midday until late in the evening. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy a drink before you go out for dinner or unwind with the refreshment of your choice after a hard day’s work in the sumptuous surroundings of our Guest Lounge. We stock a wide selection of spirits, beers, and wines from around the world. Spirits are served in a generous 35ml measure and wine is available either by the glass or bottle.
We are also licensed for 'off sales' so if you are having a day out with a picnic, don’t forget to select your refreshments before you go.
With having the option to enjoy a 'take-away' meal in the dining room accompanied by a drink from the bar, Creston Villa Guest House is the ideal alternative to hotel accommodation in Lincoln. |

Guestbook: We stayed at the Creston Guest House for a long weekend, while visiting friends in Lincoln. A lovely warm welcome from Anna and Iain. The smell of lovely fresh linen as you walk through the door. We were shown our rooms, we stayed in the Victorian room which was absolutely beautiful. This was not ensuite, but this was no problem whatsoever. They provided us both with dressing gowns and fresh towels. Our friends stayed in the Pine Room which was just across the landing. The whole guest house was very clean, completely spotless. The breakfast the following morning was amazing, from continential to full english breakfast, juices, tea and coffee. Easy reach to Lincoln town, catheral and the castle. Louise and Del.
Went to Lincoln for a long weekend and found this guest house on the internet. Anna & Iain who own the hotel where very welcoming, made us feel at home. Rooms at guest house spotless and decorated to a high standard. Within walking distance to Lincoln town centre and off road parking provided. Highly recommended.
