| From the A38 Exeter-Plymouth expressway, take the main A384 Totnes road. Follow the road signs towards Dartmouth, filtering left at Dartington and turning right at Totnes. Proceed for about 8 miles to Totnes Cross garage, where the A3122 Dartmouth road bears left. Continue along the Dartmouth road for at least another three miles, passing Woodlands Leisure Park on the right hand side, then the Dartmouth Golf Club on the left. Soon our own brown signs will indicate a right turn off the main road, towards Strete and Slapton, and then immediately right again down the little lane shown in the photo beside. Woodside Cottage is the only house to be seen after descending the hill, and it is up on the right hand side. |
