Mill Dene is an ancient, Cotswold water-mill, beautifully converted for modern comfort. The two bedrooms overlook the garden (which is in the Good Garden Guide and has been on TV and in many magazines)from which guests can spot kingfishers, if they are lucky. Each room has full facilities, tea, coffee, chocolate etc, as well as TV and hairdryer, and the beds can be king -sized double or singles. There is a separate Sitting Room for guests which overlooks the mill pond.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in the garden by the millpond or in the Garden Room. The breakfast is as organic as can be and all sourced locally. Try a swim in our swiming pool to work up an appetite.
The Dares and their Birman cats, are excellent hosts who will set you off for the day with a great itineary. This usually includes visiting some of the gardens in the neighbourhood, such as Hidcote, Kiftsgate, Sezincote,Batsford to name but a few. Wendy judged at Chelsea so knows of what she speaks!
The Cotswolds are now gaining a reputation for good eating ad many of our pubs feature in the Michlin guide ' Eating out in Pubs'.
