Bridlington is a typical seaside resort that is fondly remembered from childhood but hasn't been over commercialised, still retaining a charm that brings visitors back year after year. It was named as Yorkshire Visitor Destination of the year 2007.
There are a wealth of restaurants, cafes and pubs, all within a ten minute stroll from Lincoln House, offering a wide range of cuisine across all price ranges.
Both Bridlington beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status.
Fishing and boating trips are available from the harbour, which is the largest shell fish harbour in Europe.
Cinema, ten pin bowling, amusement arcades, night clubs are all within easy reach of Lincoln House.
Three theatres: The Spa (newly refurbished and now offers one of the best theatre/conference venues on the East coast), 3Bs Theatre and the Spotlight Theatre offer a variety of shows and entertainment throughout the year.
Within a few miles of Bridlington there are many areas of interest and beauty to visit. For those interested in ornothology, the RSPB Bempton site, home to Gannets and Puffins, is a must.
For beautiful and historic homes, a visit to Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere Hall is recommended. Also, Sewerby Hall & Gardens, where a small zoo is also available. Bondville Model Village is also located in Sewerby village.
The Yorkshire Wolds and Moors are also worth a visit, as is the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for those who have an interest in steam railways.
For the golfers, we are able to offer the Golf Coast Passport, which provides 3 rounds at 3 courses over a 7 day period for the fantastic price of £48. |
