We, Steve and Sigrid give you a very warm welcome into our cosy 10 bedroomed B&B. All our rooms are en-suite and most of them have sea-view. There are Tea and Coffee making facilities, hairdryers and freeview Television with remote control in all the rooms. We have one deluxe bedroom which has a super kingsize bed and excellent sea-views. All rooms now have hairdryers and freeview television. We pride ourselves on the Glenwaldens high quality of cleanliness. It is only a 10 minute walk into the town to get to all the attractions, including the Wintergarden, alternatively you can take the tram from right outside the hotel. We are also very close to the Hilton and the Imperial Hotel, the Golf courses are nearby too.
Here at the Glenwalden Hotel we offer a lounge bar where you can enjoy a relaxed, friendly drink and also a sun lounge which has excellent sea views. The quality of the Glenwalden is recognised with the Blackpool Quality Plus award. The Glenwalden is open all year, including New Year (but not Christmas).

The Hotel is lovely, its kept clean and the service is 100%. Singrid is a very nice lady who will cater for everyone's needs. We enjoyed our 2 Night Break during the illuminations in 2006 and we are returning on 2nd March 2007 and hopefully going to spend our Wedding Anniversary here.
We are very pleased with the service and will keep returning to the Hotel to visit Sigrid and her Husband. Very Nice Service

Stayed for a 2 night break at the weekend. Had a twin room for myself and my daughter, and a double room for my parents. Both rooms very bright and spacious, spotlessly clean. I've stayed in Blackpool on numerous occasions over the last few years and this is the nicest hotel I have stayed in, cannot fault it in any way. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here at Easter 2007. This was the first time we had ventured this far from home (Australia) and the ease with which we made our booking online and the professionalism shown by Sigrid and Steve on our arrival we found very reassuring.
Sigrid and Steve are very helpful and friendly, the breakfasts were excellent and the room was lovely.
We will stay here again if we are in Blackpool. |
