We are 2o minutes from the beaches of Costa Brava and 50 minutes from Barcelona. The "Carrilet", an 80 km bike path the mediteratioan coast town of Sant Feliu de Guixols to the volcano area of Olot, passes through the property. Feel free to ask for the use of one of our bikes.
We offer Mediterranean specialties including home made breakfast breads and desserts, homemade soft cheeses, marmelades and organic vegetables from the our garden. Dinner is served nightly . Room prices include breakfast a la carte and are based on double occupancy.

The Green Room is a cozy double room with a lovely view if the bicycle path.The bath is shared. We provide robes and fresh towels daily. The room is suitable for 2 people.
The Gracia Room is a large double room with a private bath that can sleep up to 4 people.
The Armouir Room is a large room decorated with 19th century Spanish furnishings. It enjoys a private bath with hidro-massage shower.
The Gallery Suite boasts a living area with grand windows and a wood burning fire place. The large bath has a hidro-massage tub and rain shower. The bedroom in furnished with antiques. |

We found our way by car from Girona airport (it takes under 20 minutes) intending to stay one night and were so entranced we spent most of the week at Mas Xifre. We have travelled far and wide but not experienced this quite unique blend of hospitality, style, cuisine and conversation (Dordie is multilingual, but originally hails from the USA). Mas Xifre offers its house guests use of its beautifully furnished rooms where antique Spanish style bedroom blends with state of the art bathroom and organic dining room. A bike trail runs through this tranquil setting which offers a direct route to the coast (we tried it and it´s mostly downhill!!) for those happy on two wheels. A great stop-over for Barcelona and a chance to recharge the batteries in a lovely part of the world. The secret ingredient is Dordie herself and we can´t thank her enough. |
