The hotel was originally opened in 2001 and is constructed in a rustic style with the creature comforts of country living. The restaurant, La Bodega del Bandolero, offers Spanish mountain country cuisine prepared by Cordon Bleu trained chef Ivan Sastre; homemade tapas are on offer in the bar, El Bar de El Tempranillo.
The hotel consists of eight double rooms including two suites, a breakfast dining room, restaurant, bar & terrace, lounge & swimming pool. Six of the rooms have fireplaces or wood burning stoves & terraces with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. All rooms have been decorated in a rustic style & have en-suite bathrooms; the rooms also include a television, coffee/tea making facilities & central heating; the suites also include sitting areas with DVD players.
Hotel Bandolero is perfectly situated for special holiday escapes. The hotel currently has offers for theme holidays including painting holidays / workshops (featuring pastels, oils and water colours), walking holidays in the Genal Valley and beyond, guided bird watching holidays and accommodation, an extreme outdoor adventure package and wine tasting weekends featuring locally produced Ronda wines. Some of the holiday packages can be individually tailored to meet your specific needs.
