Our guestroom is located on the first floor of a beautiful house (built in 1905) in a quiet street (Ruysdaelstraat) in the museum area. Via a small hall, you enter the room. It’s a double room with enough space to put an extra bed, to make it a triple room. Naturally there is a private bathroom. We, your hosts, have lived all our lives in Amsterdam and can tell you lots of characteristics about this fascinating town. You’ll feel soon at home in our friendly environment. We speak English, French, German, Italian, and a little Spanish.

| In the direct area you´ll find a lot of cultural highlights such as The Concerthall, The Van Gogh museum and The Rijksmuseum. As you know 2006 is The Rembrandt year. We have a lot of information concerning the Rembrandt year. If you want to relax, the famous Vondelpark is only a five minute walk away. One of Amsterdam´s biggest food and clothes markets, the Albert Cuyp, is within walking distance, and other places of interest can be reached easily by public transport. Except for the market, this area "Quartier Latin" or in Dutch "de Pijp" is well-known for it’s reasonably priced pubs serving food and small restaurants from all over the world. |

| The room is very light and has a french balcony looking out onto the Ruysdaelstraat. This double room is large enough to be transformed to a triple room. The double bed is of good quality, just like the added bed in case the room is used as a triple one. In the room you´ll find coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast is included and can be served in the room or in the garden. Some other facilities: airport/wifi, cd-player, hairdryer, bathrobes, use of flat-iron e.d. |
