The house is entirely furnished in the traditional style of the area, prevalently with the family’s carefully restored antique furniture, all rooms have charming private bathrooms. From the house you can reach the most beautiful beaches of South Sardinia: it’s a marvellous experience to find rocky and sandy coasts with no buildings all around and that are still not even discovered.

This charming house is a two-storey building, located in the town centre of the village. “A casa di Nonna” means “at grandma’s home”: in fact, it was the house of the grandmother of the owners. The house is 10 metres far from the main square of Villamassargia, Piazza Pilar, the beating heart of the village.
In medieval times, Villamassargia was the richest village of South- West Sardinia. The memory of this glorious past is kept in the Historical Park of S’Ortu Mannu (there are huge number of olive threes planted in 1300) and two Romanic Churches in downtown: Santa Maria della Neve and Nostra Signora del Pilar. At the beginning of XX century Villamassargia was a miners’ town: many of its inhabitants worked in Orbai Mine, where today there is still an old village.
