El Marsam B&B is a restored 17th-century stone farmhouse on the outskirts of Umbertide in Umbria, near the Tuscany border. Because El Marsam is a small B&B, the owners are able to provide a warm welcome to their guests, seeing to their individual needs, making their stays comfortable and their holidays memorable. While they have endeavored to maintain its charming simplicity, they like to think of their home as elegantly rustic. There is a cozy sitting room where guests are invited to enjoy a collection of travel guides to the region.
El Marsam has three double rooms & one studio. Two downstairs rooms with double beds and shared bath are adjoining rooms, making them perfect for families or friends traveling together. Upstairs, another double room, serene and romantic, is beautifully appointed in antiques. Its bathroom, with both tub and shower, has been fashioned with stone & terracotta, recreating a Roman bath with mural. The studio has a private entrance, private bath, washer & dryer, and a queen-size bed. The bed can be separated into two singles if needed. In season, its private entrance passes under a canopy of wisteria. Perfect for honeymooners.
