Bed & Breakfast La Signoria di Firenze stands in the heart of Florence, 20 metres from Piazza della Signoria, in the historical Calimaruzza street and in the charming scenery of the city center.

The Palace, which houses the b&b stands in one of the most ancient Florentine city streets. It is located at a stone's throw from the major monumental buildings and museums of the city, in the street joining Piazza della Signoria with a small market square known as Loggia del Porcellino. In this Loggia had been established the Art of Merchants, Calimala, which was one of the Arts.
The restoration, to develop the b&b La Signoria di Firenze respected the structure and nature of the building. It was designed to include an adequate number of bathrooms, sleeping areas and a common area and the various facilities required by the current housing needs. Were kept in the old decorations on the ceilings. All the floors are precious Tuscan oak. The finishings that characterize the apartment, also in the style chosen for the decoration of the baths, are in perfect harmony with the set and the typical Florentine.
In this old building, we have at the first floor (without elevator) five prestigious rooms renovated and furnished in compliance with the Florentine tradition without losing touch with modernity, the new demands of our time and with maximum comfort.
Our rooms are dedicated to five artists who lived between 1400 and 1500 that have affected the culture of the Florentine with works that are now kept in churches and museums closeby to the b&b La Signoria di Firenze. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and wired Internet available with your own laptop (we provide the ethernet cables required), DTB TV, luggage-based, minibar, safe deposit box in each room. The b&b indoor is characterized by great attention to details: elements of design, precious fabrics and luxury finishes, typical florentine furniture.

We stayed for four nights this month and had a blast! The B&B itself is spotless with all of the amenities that you need, including an extremely friendly and hospitable management - we felt like we were staying with a friend. The location is great - central to everything and on a cute little street next to lots of shopping / restaurants, etc. It was our first time to Florence, and we'd definitely come to La Signoria again.

Wow! what a great find. I went with a friend who was celebrating her 40th birthday so we wanted something a little special and were not left dissapointed. We received a warm welcome from the owner Luciano who provided us with useful info throughout our stay.
The location knocked our socks off once we realised that everything we wanted to see was quite literally on our doorstep.
There was a little noise but it did not disturb us enough to keep us awake
Since being back only 1 day we have reccomended to all our friends and family they should definately stay here.

Wow! What can I say? La Signoria di Firenze, Florence.Firstly, the welcome, the hospitality, superb! Upon arrival my friend and I were welcomed by the wonderful Luciano. It is obvious for all to see that alot of love and care has gone into the wonderful decor of this guesthouse, where the rooms have been decorated to a very high standard, beautiful and clean.I would like to keep this place a closely guarded secret, however this is a new venture for Luciano and having made our visit to Florence so fantastic it is only fair to repay the kindness!For any kind of traveller you will feel completely safe and happy here, just a stone's throw away from the galleries, the bridge and a very pretty square, you will never be far away from anything.The breakfast is just right, cereals, pastries, fresh juice and lovely coffee...Luciano's Sister is there as well to lend a hand, adding to the warm, friendly atmosphere.Only a little music can be heard in the evenings, but it is not a problem, we always slept well here.Totally fabulous! Luciano made my 40th birthday celebration all the more special!We will be sure to visit La Signoria di Firenze again, soon!
