La Luna Guesthouse is a Bed & Breakfast completely restored, located on the first floor of an ancient building going back to the 19th century.
The walls and the ceilings are decorated with precious and stunning Frescoes.
We are very near "Porta al Prato" and the Central rail station " Firenze Santa Maria Novella". In a few minutes you can reach "Fortezza da Basso" the "Congress Centre" and the "Business Centre" which are the seat of the most important Exhibition,Conference and Fair of Florence. Our purpose is to join the comforts and services of class Hotel with the informality, kindness, welcoming and politeness which are typical of Bed & Breakfast, offering our guests a very good rank Quality / Price.

From Nothern Florence Motor-Road A1 / A11 ,Airport Amerigo Vespucci:
Follow the direction: City Centre - Viale Guidoni - Novoli - Viale Redi - Viale Belfiore - At the second traffic light turn on the right towards Via Delle Porte Nuove - Then turn on the first Street at your left - Now you are in Via Del Ponte Alle Mosse.
From the Central Railway Station - Firenze S.M.N.- On foot 5 minutes:
With your shoulders to the tracks - Go on your right till the exit with the stairs - after passing them - turn on your right to the Avenue which is in front of you - Turn on the first street on your left ( Via degli Orti Oricellari ) and again at the first crossing on your right ( Via Della Scala ) - Go along Via Della Scala until you arrive at the next Traffic Light - Now turn on the left ( Viale Fratelli Rosselli ) and walk till Porta al Prato. When you are under "The Great Arch" - Turn on the right into Via Del Ponte alle Mosse and after a few steps you will arrive at N.15 on the left side of the Street.
La Luna Guesthouse is located in a very strategical point of Florence.

* Presentation of the City of Florence, tips and suggestions to what to visit and what to do according to the Guests length of vacation.

We would highly recommend this B&B for anyone! We stayed in La Luna bedroom and were amazed by the Fresco on the ceiling and the painting (Dante e Beatrice) on the wall. It really makes a special and romantic atmosphere to sleep in this room. Riccardo,the owner, showed us the other bedrooms and one of them also had a Florentine Fresco on the ceiling - just unique - Sometime you wonder if you are staying in a museum or in a B&B. The location was very good,you can find all sort of shops and you are a few minutes walk to the historical city centre and central station. We will definitely stay there again on another trip to Florence! One of the best B&B's in Italy. Karen and Louise 2008

I was so surprised by the beauty of the fresco and painting in the room. They surely look much better on site than on the interenet. This created a special atmosphere and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. The room is very spacious, clean and the bathroom new, fitted with modern equipments. The guy there also gave us all the information we needed and have not had problems at all in finding all the best spot in the city centre. The location is perfect, just few minutes walk from city centre and station. We were lucky to find the right B&B. It made our holiday.

I felt very comfortable here at La Luna. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. Our rooms were exteremly nice with big beds and very clean and modern bathrooms. I couldn't have been happier with my stay.

Staying at la luna guest house was absolutely fantastic! The room was beautiful, clean and quiet! breakfast was excellent as was the host, Ricardo. he speaks and understands english and was a wealth of information regarding where to go and what to do in Florence. He also has a computer for guests to use which was a big plus. the Guest house is within walking distance of the historic centre and public transport is right outside the door.I have no hesitqtion in recommending la luna guesthouse to other travellers! There are also great restaurents nearby. |
