The house is a building dating back to the 18th century, characterized as “traditional” by the officials in Greece. It is located in the mountain Mainalon in the center of Peloponnese, in the village of Dimitsana - Arcadia, next to the remains of the walls ruins of ancient Tefthis (1.500 BC).
It is comprised of two storeys and is built with marblestone, with carved cornerstones and arched lintels. The wall’s stones were cleaned one by one and covered with protective varnish to better display their beauty, and better facilitate the maintenance of a clean environment.
On the ground floor you will find a roofed quasi-outdoor area, where the reception, the guesthouse’s lounge with the large fireplace and bar are located. A large flat screen Sony TV with home cinema is also located here, alongside many board games, including cards and backgammon.

All rooms are equipped with traditional furniture and authentic antiques, most of which could be found in the original building. The rooms have been designed and decorated based on the notion that the guest will spend enough time indoors. For this reason there is a touch of “luxury” without, however, challenging the guesthouse’s traditional character.
Handmade carpets, fireplace in some rooms and hydro-massage! Discrete presence of “technology”. Flat screen Sony TVs and DVDs in all bedrooms, Wireless ADSL Internet Access offered free of charge.

Dimitsana is a Historical village in the center of Peloponnese Greece on mount Menalon next to gorge of the Lousios river. It has many museums like the unique Open Air Water Museum, Ecclesiastical (relegional) museum, archaiological sites, monasteries and other cultural interests.
There are also various sports like swimming in the municipal swimming pool during summer, rafting in the river, walking in the European Trails and do cycling, horseriding and small car driving in the forest or by the river. |
