Modern luxury bungalow with en-suite accommodation, with swimming pool and jacuzzi, situated on edge of Quillan town,in the high valley of the Aude. Close to bars, restaurants, banks, shops etc. Weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year. Ideal for walking holidays in the Pyrenees for all abilities. Quillan is situated on the river Aude with an ancient chateau overlooking the town. It is popular for all water activities, white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming in local lakes. Horse riding through the forest and mountain tracks can also be organised as a day long excursion or just for an hour or so. This is an area steeped in history with the mysteries of the Holy Grail, Knight Templars and Cathars. The old mediaeval city of Carcassone is just a short drive away, or you can relax on the mediterrean beaches in one hour's drive We also serve evening meals and packed lunches at an additional charge.
Breakfast and dinner served on the terrace in the warmer months with spectacular views across the town to the mountains opposite.
