A warm welcome awaits you at our home in Gagnac-sur-Cère.
We are situated in the centre of a quiet 12th century village at the top end of the Dordogne valley and on the border between the Lot and the Correze. 100m from the river Cère and 5km from the river Dordogne. We have four bedrooms with quality linen and each has a private bathroom with hairdryer.
A copious continental breakfast is included in the room rate and may be taken on the terrace. A cooked English breakfast is also offered for a small extra charge. An evening meal is available for our guests, made with home grown and locally sourced ingredients.
The area is a rich haven for walkers, cyclists, angling and canoeing.
Luggage transfers, picnic lunches, cycle hire and a laundry service are all available upon request.
Within half an hour are many top attractions. including the towns of Rocamadour, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Argentat-sur-Dordogne and Collonges-la-Rouge. Many of Frances other Plus Beaux Villages are very close by.The caves of Gouffre de Padirac are only 20 minutes away.
We have two Resturants within 5 minutes walk. Local markets are held twice a week in Bretenoux. |
