Beautiful place with lovely decor and comfy rooms. The Milletts are gracious hosts, very friendly and considerate, and they made sure that I was having a good time on my holiday. Also, they have great advice about where to go exploring, and there's even table tennis downstairs. I had a blast and I am sad that I ever had to leave. This is the definitely the place to be when you're in Carcassonne!

Hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast with other guests is pleasurable. Location is only a few minutes walk, with luggage, from the train station. The medieval city is withing easy walking distance also.

We stayed from 7-12 Sept. Although listed as a hostel it is more of a bed & breakfast. Lovely room, easy to find and in an excellent location 5 mins walk from the train station and approx 15 mins from La Cite. Breakfast was a fab selection of bread and pastries and the owners are lovely friendly people.

I really enjoyed the owners of the guesthouse. I perceived the two as being very true to themselves and honest with us. They were very informative while at the same time very reserved in their mannerisms. They were actually quite intriguing in this sense, and I wish I could have stayed longer to have been able to know them bettter. I also found the building in itself very nice. My window had a view to the garden, and the access to this space made me feel as though I was in a sense a part of the private sphere of their home.

It only had a few rooms and the owners very incredibly welcoming. It was only a 5 minute walk from the station and main shopping district. The cite was about a 20 minute walk but easily done!

Big rooms, easy to find. Clean. The couple who run it are very friendly and helpful, and told us all about the surronding area. It's a guest house rather than a hostel.

The owners were a great help and very kind, there was a nice breakfast, our room was very big with comfortable beds, and there was a table tennis table! The hotel is also in a good location, close to (but not too near to) some really nice bars.

Millett guesthouse is in a great location to explore Carcassonne, just around the corner from Place Carnot (market square), Central Train Station, restaurants, and the shopping strip. The rooms were clean, huge and quiet (the hotel is next to a carmelite convent). A pleasant 15-20 min walk to La Cite. The owners, Richard & Meei, were lovely hosts: welcoming and helpful upon arrival, attentive but discrete throughout my stay. I would have no hesitation in staying with the Millett's again.

Your rating staement"Fun place to met people and party". would not bebter into my requirements at all. It gives the impression that hostl booking is only for the under 25s, whcih is rediccuklous as many 50 somethings, also prefer the simplcity and inderpendance of hostels , to the big hotels. Millet house is charmimg as are its owners, it is howver, very french ina period manor and very much in keeping with Carcassonnes of the 1950s. (with necesary hi tech only in tems of modern showers etc).
