La Maison des Pins is a family run business, Carcassonne, where the owners pride themselves on offering luxury accommodation at a competitive price. They are freezing their prices for 2009.
In the village there is a butchers, bar/restaurant, fish shop, bakers, two hair dressers and a small supermarket. The
Village is accessible by bus, taxi or car.
It is ideal for walking and biking holidays as they are in the heart of the countryside and in close proximity to over 300 km of off road mountain bike trails. There is also a golf course opening just 10
minutes from Villegailhenc. There are also plenty of gourmet restaurants in close proximity and wine tours.
All rooms have tea and coffee making
facilities, mini-fridges and TV
(with possibility to rent DVD players). Each room has bath towels and swimming towels can be booked separately. The self catering rooms are very well-equipped.
The outside area comprises of an intimate area with mature trees, ideal for relaxing or dinning, the swimming pool area, a large
terrace area with seating and a large grange with bar-be-ques, ping-pong, darts, pool, children's toys and swings.
Children are very welcome to stay at La Maison des Pins, there are children's books, DVDs, toys available, as well as cots and high chairs (these need to be requested upon booking). There is also a toddler pool for babies and small children.
Special features include: Air conditioning, Electric heating in each room and disabled access for La Gallerie. Customers booking on a b and b basis can also use the self catering facilities such as the main dinning room equipped with micro-wave, kettle etc and the use of the bar-be-ques, ideal for people looking for an affordable get-away. There is also Sky TV for the occaisional rainy day or to catch up with the world.

Guestbook: We hesitate to write anything positive about this wonderful place out of selfish motive that Colin and Melanie will get all the recognition they trully deserve and become so over-booked that we will not be able to stay here again.
