Arrival.
Arrival time is from 2 PM. Please specify in advance any late arrival.
Breakfast.
You can have breakfast between 06:30 AM and 09:30 AM. Please fill in the breakfast request form at the bar mentioning at what time you want us to serve you. The standard breakfast includes fresh orange juice, coffee or thee, ham, cheese, yoghurt, jam and several types of bread. At the reception you will also find a breakfast Card, use it to specify any additional items you want us to prepare.
Business center.
This is located on the second floor. A windows PC including a color inkjet printer can be used. For high resolution color laser printing you can use a Xerox printer. We provide the following services:
Fax to Fax: We can send any A4 or letter size fax for you. Ask reception to do this for you.
Email to fax: Standard Email messages, without attachments, can be automatically send to any Fax number in the world. Ask reception for more details.
Email reception: If someone wants to send an Email with or without attachments directly to The Mansion they can do so.
If you want to stay for a longer period then just a few days we can get you a personalized Email address. Ask reception for more details.
High speed internet connection.
Additionally you can also use Unix (IBM), Linux and AS/400 servers.
Bulk Email: if you want to send Email messages in bulk, we have an Email server who can do this for you.
Bulk Fax: if you want to send fax messages in bulk, we have a Fax server who can do this for you.
Beamer: by using your laptop and hiring our conference room you can give presentations to an audience of up to 15 persons.

We accept Visa, Eurocard/mastercard and American Express.
Departure.
Rooms should be free at noon. Please ask reception for any other departure time.
Golf course.
Aalst has an 8 hole golf course and you can reserve a double to play 16 holes.
Golf destinations.
We have a special arrangement with European Golf Experience. As such you can reserve 2 or 3 days at selected courses on the French Riviera, Italy, Spain and Morocco. A brochure can be found at the bar.
Guided tour.
We can arrange guided tours in French, Dutch and English language..
Limousine Service.
We can arrange a driver with Van for up to 6 persons.
Motorway.
If you come by car our place is about 2 Km from the exit Aalst of the E40 motorway.
Pets.
Pets are not allowed.
Restaurants.
The city of Aalst has one top restaurant Kelderman, it is famous for fish dishes. Count 100 € per person, wine included. Reservation is necessary and you need a car. We also have one famous lobster restaurant listening to the name Kronenborg, it has only one lobster menu but just go for it. The price will be around 60 € wine included. Here you can also eat small snacks and steaks. It is at walking distance (5 minutes). Restaurant De Borse van Amsterdam is over 300 years old. It gives you an excellent combination of quality and price. It is at walking distance (5 minutes) and the average price is around 25 €. If you want some good Hong-Kong cuisine than go to Tang‘s Place. It is at walking distance (8 minutes) and you should count 25 € per person wine not included. Other top restaurants in Belgium can be reserved through our services.
Secretarial services.
We have the experience with any type of Windows, Linux/Unix software. Powerpoint presentations, Word processor, spreadsheets and html documents can be prepared for you in no time. You can also use our business center in order to do it on your own, the software is right there at your fingertips.
Shuttle Service.
We have a shuttle for up to 6 passengers. Inform us in advance and we will arrange the trip from and to the airport. Any type of business service or sightseeing tour can be done, just ask the reception.
Sightseeing tour.
When it is the first time you visit Belgium you need to visit at least Brussels and Bruges. Both can be easily done by train or through our shuttle service.
Table d‘Hôte.
Every evening the menu d‘hôte for the next day will be published in the bar, the reservation needs to be done at that time.
Train station.
The train station is 200 meter away. A direct connection brings you in 50 minutes to the airport. Brussels midi(zuid) is only 23 minutes away, it is the hub to London (150 minutes by Eurostar) and to Paris (80 minutes by Thalys). The center of Brussels can be reached in 30 minutes and it takes you 50 minutes to reach Bruges.
Translation services.
If suddenly you need a translation into French, Dutch, English or Japanese language we will probably have the resources to help you with it. Ask reception and we will try to satisfy your needs.
