Guestbook: *** I was very impressed by the friendly and genuine hospitality, displayed by Anne & Deo. They have a gift for hospitality and care and it comes through in the efforts, they make for you the guest. Karoline Smith, June 2005.
*** It was indeed a pleasant stay, comfortable and peaceful. Thank you and God's richest blessings on the both of you. Mildred Thomas, August 2005.
*** We both had a lovely stay. It felt more like we were visiting friends, than staying in a guest house.
Michael & Caroline Nelson, September 2005.
*** Thanks to the both of you for all that you have done for us during our stay with you. You have indeed made our stay here in Trinidad one that we will never forget. You two were the kindest of strangers, whom we now consider as good friends. We will be back again next year, God willing. All the best to you both.
Donald and Marie Walker, February 2006.
*** Trinidad was far from what I was expecting, where the shopping was concerned. Prices are too high there in comparison to other caribbean islands. This however, was the only disappointment of my trip. The best part of my trip was where I stayed. Boy I had a blast with Ann and Deo. I am so glad that I had them with me offering all sorts of good advice and really treating me as a long time friend. Guys I really had fun and I hope that if I ever come back to Trinidad that you will be there for me again. Thanks for everything.
Laura Richards. United States. October 3rd -8th 2006.
*** After having a very bad experience in Trinidad, having stayed because of a lay-
over there, at the BelAir hotel, I was very scared to stay anywhere else for fear of what I may meet upon my arrival. However, after reading many good reviews on this and many other websites about Orchard View, I took the chance and sent along my e-mail request for accommodations to them.
My first impression of them was a good one as I got an immediate response to my mail from them and the welcoming and pleasant feel from each letter, made me feel better somewhat that this one may not be so bad.
It was great. My hosts, a lovely couple, were very king and welcoming, there home and my room was clean, comfortable and located in a very queit area, as opposed to loud planes landing every so often at the BelAir.
So, as many have done before, I would now do so as well and add my recommendations and best wishes to the folks at Orchard View for being very nice people, and for offering good, clean and reasonable accommodations to me and I am sure that I will have another lay-over again and hopefully, I will be able to stay there again. Cheers.

*** Thanks to you both for taking good care of my kids, on their layover in Trinidad to catch an early morning flight out. Being a mother it is pretty hard to trust anyone with your kids, so I am really grateful to you, for keeping me rest assured that all would be well. Trinidad has not been getting good news lately, so I was scared that they had an over night there. But they said that they felt as if they were home with you and that you took good care of them. Thank you Ann for being such a nice person and all the best to you.

***Just wanted to leave a review about the Orchard View guest house in Trinidad. My husband and I stayed here for a few days last week and we would like to express our thanks to Anne, for taking good care of us. We are elderly and did not want to do any public transportation, so she and her husband took us around those few days and we really had loads of fun. This is a very nice guesthouse, very well taken care of and there is lots of love between them, and they run their business with love and pride as well. We highly recommend them and their guest house.
Mr.and Mrs. Gerald Thomas - England - September 2007.
***My sister and I were looking for a guesthouse to stay for a couple days in Trinidad before heading over to Tobago for a birthday celebration and after reading the reviews of Orchard view we contacted them and stayed there. We can only say that the warmth that we felt during our stay was so much more that what we expected. People are generally not freindly anymore as we had a couple unfortunate experiences in Tobago with the attitude of the locals there, but our fondest thoughts were in Trinidad, with our very lovely hosts and the very nice room that we stayed in. We are pleased to leave a very high review of Anne and Deo of Orchard view guesthouse and can assure that staying there will be a good choice to make if you are ever in Trinidad.
Stacy and Sherry Roscald - U.S.A. - January 2008.
***My mom and I had to stay overnight in Trinidad and stayed at Orchard View and we were pleased with our stay there, the room that we were in was nice and had all that we needed for our stay, very warm and inviting were the owners and being two women in a strange country, we were glad to feel safe while there. Just for the night though but very short and sweet. Naomi and Emily Struss - Canada - March 2008.
***A very pleasant stay, in a very nice and comfortable room, I greatly enjoyed the doubles and roti that Anne and her husband encouraged me to try. I enjoyed my stay in your home very much and promise to return, when I visit again. Best Wishes.
Rebecca Carnby. - San Francisco - April 2008.
***I had to stay over night in Trinidad and sought accommodations with Orchard View. I enjoyed it and everything was good enough for me to get a good night's rest before my early flight to Venezuela the next morning. No complaints at all and would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Rick Joaquin - U.S.A. - August 2008. |
