Zion Country Eco Beach Cabins are situated in Muirton Pen, Portland, between Manchioneal and Long Road in the east of Jamaica and is best described as a small, cosy guesthouse. There is no commercial tourism here. Being surrounded by a green forest makes Zion Country Eco beach Cabins a popular place for nature lovers, eco tourism, back packers and low budget travellers.
Zion Country Eco Beach Cabins is a 1 acre property with a private beach with a view to the ocean and to the John Crow mountains. Dutch born Free-I, from Holland, bought the one acre property in 1996, re-landscaped the whole property and build 4 wooden beach cabins.
Each 2–room cottage has a sea view and private balcony where you can relax or fall asleep in a hammock (for rent). The work took five years but Zion Country Eco beach Cabins opened its doors in 1999 and hosts visitors from all over the world. Zion Country Eco beach Cabins is open 365 days a year.

i can´t explain how thankful I am for the wonderful time in zion country. I loved it to spend my time there. And I miss everythink so much: the amazing terrain, the breakfast, Owen, Free-I and Patrice (correct written?), the unforgettable dances and all the nice people around zion country. I will come back and I think it will be this year
Hugh and I had the most amazing time at Zion Country. If you want a place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city Zion Country is the place. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing (thanks Owen), and Free-I gives it that personal touch.

We had the most wonderful holiday and the beach cabins were fantastic, basic and peaceful gardens. Friendly host, and very charming and wonderful staff. Free-I the owner makes everybody feel very welcome and he has good advice on how to relax. I will most definately be coming back to Zion Country Beach Cabins. |
