Impangele lies near the base of the Langeberg mountain range.
This guest house is well equipped to cater for every traveller's needs, and has been adapted to provide maximum ease and comfort for any disabled visitors. It offers superb accommodation, and boasts a peaceful indigenous garden, with mountain views.
In the main house we have 2 luxury en-suite rooms and a 2 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 6 people.
We provide wonderful Anglo/South African breakfasts and can organise many activities and tours.
Visitors can expect personal attention, with itineraries provided on request to suit their particular needs and desires.
Amanda and David are involved with local community projects and are always willing to introduce guests to aspects of Africa not always seen by the casual tourist.
Rooms in the main house
The en-suite rooms are beautifully furnished in contemporary African style. There is television, the facility to make fresh African coffee and tea, and, when available, tasty home � cooked treats to welcome you.
Take breakfast on the deck overlooking the Langeberg mountains, take a dip in the plunge pool, enjoy the garden.
The house and garden have been adapted to be completely disabled friendly, with easy access for wheelchairs.
A special note for allergy sufferer: all the rooms have either wooden floors or are tiled.
The Garden house
The spacious, fully self contained garden house is separate from the main house. It has two double bedrooms, a living space with television, Playstation and CD player, and a double sofa bed, a bath / shower room and a fully fitted kitchen, including oven, microwave, fridge. Take breakfast on your patio overlooking the garden with beautiful views, and in the evening enjoy a braai.
Parking
Off road parking is available for visitors.
Internet
Internet and e-mail facilities are available at the Impangele Guest House, the use of these facilities is charged at an hourly rate.
Guests may use the address to receive e-mail during their stay.
Braai
Braai facilities are available for guests who love a traditional South African barbecue � indeed we have the original indoor wood burning oven for cooler nights.
Drying Area
After a hard days walking or exploring, a drying facility is available to get your clothes dry.

| Swellendam is a small, tranquil town, still very much supported by its agricultural heritage. Almost 95% of the blackberries in South Africa are harvested in the surrounding fruit farms, and some of the most delicious wines are created in the Breede Valley. As well as the traditional pastoral activities of cattle and sheep farming, there are cornfields and citrus farming.
Climate
Rainfall is spread over the year (55% winter and 45% summer). There is little wind and temperatures are moderate. There is no shortage of water and gardens are lush and luxuriant.
Environment
The town is clean and efficiently run. The people are friendly and there is no political strife with a virtual absence of serious crime. It is an attractive town, with well kept historic buildings.
