The five star graded Blue Tangerine has no-less-than exquisite views across the sandy fynbos of Table Mountain National Park, along eight kilometres of beach and out into the Atlantic Ocean, with Chapman’s Peak on one side and the Cape Peninsula mountains on the other.
You are are quickly mesmerized by the views as soon as youp inside and, thanks to the super-sized French windows in nearly every room, this need to stare outside never wanes during a stay.
The atmosphere at Blue Tangerine is that of a relaxed, weekend house party. The open-plan main guest area has a soaring thatched roof while all the bedrooms have French windows opening onto the garden with private patio and those views. A free form pool and Jacuzzi are located in the beautifully manicured gardens that extend to some one and half acres.
There are 5 suites at Blue Tangerine, 3 located in the main house a quaint and cozy garden cottage and a self-catering Pool Cottage, with the bath placed in front of ceiling-high windows, which also look towards the sea (of course). All have been tastefully decorated and furnished to a highest standard, featuring a private patio, TV with DSTV, mini safes and complementary tea and coffee trays. Newly renovated bathrooms in all rooms have heated towel rains, excellent lighting and bath and shower facilities.
The opportunity for a champagne sundowners or delicious dinner served in the main guest area or the outside terrace completes the experience at Blue Tangerine.
Blue Tangerine is not a destination but rather a boutique retreat only 30 minutes from the hustle of the Mother City. It is a place to unwind, meditate and be pampered. Relax and enjoy the breathtaking views whilst sipping a sundowner and you are guaranteed to be left wanting more.
