The friendly and homely atmosphere of "Spindrift", with beautiful rooms overlooking the garden, pool and fish pond, make it the perfect place to relax between your explorations of the Namib Desert & Coastline with its unique animals,bird life and surroundings.
A minute's walk from the famous Walvis Bay Lagoon, a slightly longer walk to well-established restaurants and bars, and a short drive to Sandwich harbour and the Pelican point peninsula allows guests to enjoy the many activities offered locally. To name but a few; kayaking with the seals and dolphins, kite-surfing,angling, offshore fishing, dune boarding, quad biking and the various marine, nature and cultural tours on offer.
The nearby Namib Naukluft Park, Damara land and the rest of the Erongo region is ideal for self drive and 4x4 exploration with scenic places(welwitschia, brandberg, Spitzkoppe, Sossusvlei,etc) and friendly locals.
The 8 rooms are all en-suite for 2 persons, with shower and bath. There are no television sets, and smoking is only outside. One can enjoy the use of a communal swimming pool, pool table, braai (Barbecue) and bar area in a seperate part of the guest house, with secure parking.
Breakfast is served between 7 and 10 am. Evening meals can be arranged in advance for groups of 4 or more.We look forward to your stay. |
