This city has accumilated tremendous weath and is almost an extention of Hong Kong when it comes to shopping. Apart from the usual moneymaking shopping malls there are art and antiques to be found in Western Chungfeng Lu.
Bargaining is acceptable and expected, so don't be pressured into paying the asking price. Good boutique shopping to be had in Youyi Lu and lots of souvenir stalls around Luohu Commercial City a huge mall of around 1500 shops. Top quality handbags and shoes galore to be had at hard to beat prices, ladies.
