Tower Bridge & the Tower of London are across the street, & due to the flat's proximity to the tube station (1 min walk), you can hop on & quickly be near any other major attraction, including Parliament, Big Ben, Whitehall, Buckingham Palace, etc., not in walking distance. Also next door is Trinity Square Gardens, and All Hallows church, under which runs a 2,000 year old Roman road from the Roman city of “Londinium”.
A wide variety of pubs & restaurants are within a 1-3 min walk, dozens within a 5-6 min walk. Also nearby is St Paul's Cathedral, St Katherine's Docks Marina, London Bridge, Southwark Cathedral, the Borough Market, Sir Francis Drake's ship, & Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Several Sir Christopher Wren churches are within a 2-7 min walk.
Flat is perfect for a couple, or small family, having a microwave, oven & stove, fridge & freezer, coffee maker, washer/dryer, plasma TV & DVD player, DVD library, CD/tape player/radio, CD library, book library, & wi-fi.

The flat is conveniently located just across the street from the Tower of London and next to the beautiful and historic Trinity Square Gardens. Just a minute's walk from the Tower Hill tube stop, and approximately three minutes from the Tower Gateway DLR, you'll find this flat the ideal base from which to explore London!
Due to the flat's proximity to the underground/tube station (and being within Zone One and on the Circle Line and District Lines), you can hop on and quickly be near any major attraction in central London: Buckingham Palace, Churchill's War Rooms, Whitehall, Parliament, Big Ben, Kensington Palace, etc.
Just across the street, in addition to the Tower of London, is All Hallows by the Tower, a 1,500 year old church that has import for American as well as British history – William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, was baptized in the church as an infant, and John Quincy Adams, America’s 6th President and son of John Adams, America’s 2nd President, was married there in 1797. Tours of the church, which are offered free of charge, reveal among other things a 2,000 year old Roman road, part of the ancient Roman city of “Londinium”, that ran underneath the present site of the church, as well as Roman and Saxon artifacts.
There are many pubs and restaurants within a one or two minute walk. The Hung, Drawn and Quartered Pub is just across Great Tower Street next to All Hallows (church). There are also three other pubs, a French restaurant (Chez Gerard), a Spanish restaurant, an Indian restaurant, an Asian noodle place, a Pizza Express restaurant, a Subway sandwich shop, and a couple of small family-owned cafes all within a lazy 1-2 minute walk. If you're willing to walk a bit further, you will find a seemingly endless supply of restaurants.
Also nearby (meaning a 15 min walk or less) is St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, St Katherine's Dock, Marina Shad Thames (riverwalk area with more restaurants & pubs), London Bridge, Southwark Cathedral, the Borough Market, Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hinde, the HMS Belfast, & Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is a pleasant walk across either London or Millenium Bridge near Vinopolis, a wine museum with a lovely restaurant with wine tasting. (The theatre & restaurant are ideal for a unique dinner & show experience as part of a memorable & romantic evening.)
If you walk east about 10-15 min, you'll find yourself in London's East End, & perhaps at Brick Lane which is famous for its excellent Indian food! I highly recommend the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour of the East End, held at night 3-4 times per week and starting from the Tower Hill tube station, 1 min from the flat. St Kathryn's Docks Marina is 5-6 min east & has many shops, cafes & restaurants. |

The flat is equipped with a microwave, oven and stove/hob, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, clothing washer and dryer, plasma TV and DVD player, DVD library (40-50 movies), CD/tape player/radio, CD music library (eclectic mix from classical to country music to classic rock to Glenn Miller to opera to jazz to R&B), small book library (about 40 books), and wireless DSL. The flat rental includes all linens, towels, and cutlery.
This flat is perfect for a single, couple, or small family. There is a UK Double bed upstairs (approximately the same as a US Queen) (see photo). There is also a very large, comfy sofa which is six foot two inches between armrests and which makes up nicely into a twin bed if desired, and a £200 UK double size Aero-Bed available for guests' use. (However, I need to say that the 5 person maximum really means 2 parents and 3 children - the flat, at 500 square feet, is just too small to be used by 5 adults.) |

| This flat is self-catering. It has very expensive Denby stoneware and includes all cookware and utensils. A Tesco grocery store is a 5 minute walk west of the flat. |
Guestbook: We just returned from a 3 week trip to Great Britain. The first 4 nights of the vacation were spent at this Trinity Square flat. Because this was our first trip overseas Paul made us feel very comfortable with all we needed to know about London and gave excellent directions to the flat. He was extremely professional with correspondence and the handling of money/deposit transactions. The flat was very well equipped and clean with a fantastic location near the Tube and the Tower. It was a bit tight with our three children and all of our luggage, but we were not surprised since it was advertised as such. I would recommend this flat to anyone wanting a very convenient and accommodating place to stay in London. The Townsends, Vancouver, Washington

We had a fantastic week-long holiday at Paul's flat. The location is ideal, so close to the Tower and the Tower Hill tube stop. There were only 2 of us so there was plenty of room. Many previous guests have left guidebooks and maps which help in your planning. Make sure you get an "Oyster" card for the tube and bus fares. We plan to go back and stay there again!

Staying here was wonderful for our family of 4: Our 2 daughters, ages 14 & 17 especially loved the flat, and oohed and aahed when we walked in! It was like a home away from home for us. There were so many things that were great. The location was ultra convenient, clean, safe and across from Tower of London, a 2 minute walk to the subway, 5 minute walk to a grocery store called Tesco, so we were able to buy groceries and cook in the kitchen which saved lots of money. The flat comes stocked with so many unexpected amenties: books to read, including London guidebooks/maps, videos to watch, phone to make free local calls, umbrellas, washer/dryer, dishes, pots, silverware, etc. Even had spices, olive oil, shampoo, etc. left from previous tenants so we didn't have to run out and buy some of that stuff. Paul, the owner was a joy to work with: Always responded to our queries in a timely manner, easy going, and professional. For the cost, compared to how much London hotels would be for a family of 4, this is an incredible value and we'll definitely be staying here again. Some thoughts for next time: I wish we'd remembered to visit the rooftop garden with the view, because I heard the views were wonderful. Also didn't care much for the pub just around the corner from the flat. (Wetherstones)? The beer was GREAT, but the food was just ok. And for 4 people, the sleeping arrangement works like this: 2 can sleep in the double bed upstairs, 1 sleeps on the sofa, and the 4th person can put the 2 big, comfy chairs together to form a "bed". It was all very comfortable and worked out great!
