Volleyball Court, Tennis Courts, Club House, Watersports,Scuba diving. Shop for essentials. Shuttle bus for your convenience runs regularly around the resort as no vehicles are allowed. Water shuttle runs from the resort to Kalkan harbour. Kalkan,within walking distance or five mins by car has an exc.range of craft shops & restaurants, narrow winding streets lead down to the pretty harbour and small beach. Bus & boat trips run from Kalkan village to various places of interest in the area. Bus runs from outside Patara to the village of Kalkan. (Please note not all facilities are available out of peak season).

The region has mild Mediterranean winters with almost no humidity and beautiful hot summers. For the beach lovers, 20km from the resort is Patara Beach,a 14km long unspoit beach, famous for its nesting turtles. 7km away you will find Kaputus beach,a small sandy cove and beach nestled at the foot of a striking mountain gorge. Saklikent Gorge situated 30km away is an 18km long gorge approached along a wooden boardwalk above the river. Visit Myra the Roman theatre and the Rock Tombs. From Kalkan or Kas you can take a boat tour of the Sunken City of Kevkova. Along the shore of the island are Byzantine foundations and ruins, partly submerged in the sea. Nearby, a 20 minutes drive from Kalkan is Islamer, a small village set in the Taurus Mountains giving you an insight into the rural life of Turkey
Kalkan is a delightful fishing town, rising gently from the bay, retaining a Turkish flavour whilst offering all requirements for the modern world. Set along narrow winding streets leading to the picturesque harbour along which are many tempting restaurants offering both Turkish and International Cuisine. There is a market held in Kalkan on a Thursday.

We can only echo the words of previous guests in praising this apartment, Patara Prince and Kalkan. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Kalkan is a great centre for exploring places like Patara, Saklikent, Kas and Kekova. We have had two days at sea with Captain Serif and his wife who is a great cook, the best lunch on a boat trip ever! We have tried the recommended restaurants and particularly enjoyed Osalp especially the lamb. We have had a few days of spectacular thunder and lightening but that's not unusual this late in the season, just unlucky. I'm sure the sun will shine tomorrow. Will be back here one day."
