Recently refurbished and furnished to a very high standard, the apartment comprises a master bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning/heating and doors opening dirctly onto the terrace. 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, and separate large shower room with w.c. The apartment is extremely versatile and adaptable with all beds able to split into singles, or connect into doubles. There are plenty of duvets, sheets and towels (please bring your own beach towels though). Dining table and 6 cream leather chairs in the living room/diner which also has air-conditioning/heating. Outside on the huge terrace there are wooden tables, chairs and recliners surrounded by tubs of flowering plants and cacti, and from here you have the most spectacular views of the gardens, mountain ranges and the sea. This is a beautiful tranquil place to come home to.

| La Mata is situated halfway between the bustling area of Mojacar Playa, and the fishing village of Garrucha. Regular bus service will take you into Garrucha, or up into the whitewashed ancient village of Mojacar Pueblo. A hire car is recommended to enjoy the surrounding villages, or driving up into the mountains. Marina Golf Club is within walking distance of the apartment, with Desert Springs, Cortijo Grande and Valle del Este golf clubs within 15 minutes drive. The skiing resort of Sierra Nevada in Granada is just a 2 hour drive away! 45 minutes drive from Almeria Airport. |
