Manilva is a white fishing village which lies on the coast at the southwesternmost edge of the Spanish province of Malaga on its border with the province of Cadiz in southern Andalucia, Spain. As Manilva is off the costal road it is as yet upspoilt and while it does contain a large number of holiday homes the majority of its inhabitants are Spanish.
There are a variety of different things to do in the area, including water activities, such as Scuba Diving, Dolphin Safari and boat trips, and exploring the history of the village. The town contains well preserved Roman Sulphur Baths and an aqueduct. There is also a small marina named Puerto Duquesa nearby, a small fishing hamlet called Castillo de la Duquesa, and a number of golf courses surrounding the area. |
