The apartment is located in the legendary Old Town of Barcelona (Barri G�tic) close by the Gothic cathedral, the Picasso Museum, great shopping and dining, historical walks etc.
Normally this is where you as a traveller will spend most of your "quality time" in Barcelona.
Several of the best tapas restaurants align the streets around the apartment, and just an appetizing walk across the "Via Laietana" to the "El Born" you can experience cutting-edge catalan dining as well as more global alternatives.
Some of the best shopping opportunities are found in the narrow streets of "Barri Gotic" and neighbouring "El Born". The area offers the liveliest nightlife in the city which makes the quiet location of the apartment the more appreciated!
To get there:
1st option: from Barcelona airport you can take the train to Barcelona �Estaci� de Franca�. The apartment is 5 minutes walking distance from the station. The journey takes half an hour.
2nd option: from Barcelona airport you can take the �Aerobus�. It will leave you at Pl Catalunya, from where the flat is only 2 metro stops away with the red line. The journey will be half an hour.
3rd. option: from Barcelona airport there are always local taxis, a journey from the airport takes 15-20 minutes (+/- 25 euros).
4th option: from Girona airport a bus takes you to Barcelona central bus station �Estacio del Nord� (+/- 1 hour) and then you can take the metro (stop at Jaume l - yellow line). |

"Getting to the apartment was a little difficult as there was no access for the taxi and the main front door is easily missed (Dont go into the apartment block around the corner, it has the same number). The apartment is excellent, clean and tidy with all the amenities you could ask for although it can be a little noisy at the weekend but don't let that put you off. The owners were very welcoming, easy to deal with and very informative. The photographs are a true reflection. We had no problems with safety. The apartment is in a good location and I would easily recommend staying here."
