Arena House Verona is located in a house of the early '800, totally restored. Particular care has been taken for the upkeep of the spirit of the century when the house was born: old stones in fine evidence, rooftrees in view and chandeliers in style let relive with yearning for the old days.
The house is inserted in ancient and quiet alley in cobblestones, which reproduces faithfully the original paving. The apartments are designed in rational and pleasing way using, when it was possible, original materials. |

Located in the historical university district of Veronetta, the residence is just at 10 minutes walking from the Arena, the most famous open air theatre in the world, where glamorous operas are performed every year from June to August.
For the proximity to the city center the car can be forgotten in the close underground parking of Piazza Isolo to enjoy walking through Verona. In the immediate neighbourhood there are tipical inns, bars, supermarket, gymnasium and a public internet access point.
The most remarkable points of the city can be easily reached walking for shopping, to plunge into picturesque Piazza delle Erbe and to go to see the most beautiful sights (Juliet's House, Castelvecchio, Scaligeri Arches, the archeologic areas of Leoni Gate and of Scaligeri Tombs, the beautiful churches, etc.)
Moreover interesting excursions can be done to Garda Lake (20 km), to Lessinia Park (30 km), along the wine roads, and so on. |

Arena House Verona is far away from traffic noise and out of the windows you can enjoy the single atmosphere of days gone. The house has five comfortable apartments; each of them is composed by living room, cooking corner, bathroom, two bedrooms each for two people. Some have an open loft and rooftrees in view and most of them are equipped with air conditioning.
Every apartment is furnished with care so as to make pleasant the stay also to guests with different requirements.
All of them are equipped with gas hob, electrical oven, fridge with freezer, crockery and cutlery for 4/6 people to allow absolute autonomy and independence for self catering. |

Guestbook: We would highly recommend this property for a visit to Verona. The location is excellent, about ten minutes walk to the arena. The property itself is extremely well equipped,very clean and fully modernised. (The photographs on the web-site do not do this property justice at all, these were placed before it was modernised but the owners are about to update the web-site). My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arena house, it was definitely one of the best pensions that I have stayed in during my different stays in europe. Igino and Louisa were fantastic hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay really enjoyable. They provided alot of information on the local area, heaps of breakfast food and advice on what to see and do.
The location was great, just a short 5 min walk into town and close to shops, restaurants, places of interest. A cab fare to the station was on average about 6-7 euros. Verona was such a fantastic town to visit, we could have stayed much longer than 4 days - make sure you plan to see the Opera in the arena and do a walking tour - highly recommended and eat at "Romeos house" - fantastic food and value. The "Arena House verona" is located in a quiet small street near to the city center of Verona. The hosts are extremly nice and helpful - speaking fluent english - with a warm welcome including a nice bottle of local wine. Parking was no problem as the owner gave us a residents pass for our car. The apartment itself ist very clean and modern (newly renovated) including airconditioning, spacious rooms, a wonderful bathroom and last but not least a kitchen fitted with everything you need.
