Vecchia Casa is a beautiful 1st floor apartment in a rural farmhouse, offering a romantic setting. It's decorated in the rustic style using antique furniture and fittings, magnificent lighting, soft muted colours and natural materials to give you that unique experience.
The hamlet location of Vecchia Casa is surrounded by woodland and rolling hills with olive groves & vineyards where shepherds tend their flocks.
The private terrace for guests, which is covered in honeysuckle, is perfect for dining al-fresco or by candle light after dusk.

We are located on a low hill, in central Umbria, off the 220 road between Perugia & Citta della Pieve, from where it is easy to reach the towns & villages of both Umbria & Tuscany. |

The bedroom, with exposed stone walls, has a king size bed, which may be divided to make 2 singles if prefered.

A covered garden terrace is for the exclusive use of guests with table & chairs & a small herb garden/vegetable patch.
Our garden features an old forno (bread/pizza oven) which may be used by arrangement.
We live on-site & are happy to be of assistance to our guests.
Tours may be arranged to the wine districts of both Umbria & Tuscany with a local English speaking expert.
Tours are also available to the famous monthly antiques market in Arezzo or others. |

Guestbook: My husband and I stayed at Vecchia Casa for 5 days. We wanted a private and lovely stay in Umbria that would allow us to explore nearby areas including Tuscany. Vecchia Casa has all that and more, Karen the energetic devoted proprietress was a wonderful hostess and we had all the privacy we needed in the tastefully constructed and decorated apartment that connects to her charming country house on a hillock in a tiny commune near Tavernelle. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
