Residence (Agritourismus) Belmonte in Iano, Montaione (Florence) is located in Val d' Era valley, the heart of Tuscany, near San Gimignano.
Its characteristic flats according to the Tuscan style, are located inside our old farm-house which is more than 200 hectares big and confer to Belmonte Farmhouse absolutely peacefulness, privacy and a rare possibility to enjoy an authentic relation with the Tuscany countryside.
Our geographical position is extremely favorable and unique differently to other tourists frameworks in Tuscany. From on high of our large panoramic swimming pool, which is 340 m² big and equipped with a fabulous hydro massage, you will spend quiet and remarkable days in absolute relax with your family, while your kids will have fun in the swimming pool for children.
In our Country Resort, you can practice some sportive activities : running off a game in our tennis field or attend a tennis classes with a professional teacher, playing with your friends in our bowls field, challenging itself on a football or volley field or making a Ping-pong tournament. You will discover wonderful surroundings, just walking in the countryside, following the indicate routes for trekking or make excursions with mountain bikes you will rent at our reception.
Inside our area you will find a lots of naturalistic locations and a small thermal lake called “il Bagnino” where you can regenerate yourself and take a warm, healthy and tonic mud bath, as a real natural "beauty-farm"!!
Lovers of fishing can have fun in the picturesque streams and lakes. We have a special agreement with the nearest "Golf Club Castelfalfi" (a TUI Village) and riding school "Centro Ippico Il Fregione" for those who love horse-riding, or simply would like to go for a suggestive ride in the hills around.
Spend a day in the majestic Florence or in Pisa, to visit the famous leaning tower situated in Piazza dei Miracoli, take a walk by the picturesque streets of San Gimignano among the princely towers and its enclosing ancient walls, or savoring an aperitif in the medieval town of Volterra or in the famous Piazza del Campo in Siena.
Allof this is possible thanks to the marvelous position of Belmonte Residence; in fact you can reach San Gimignano, Volterra in twenty minutes by car, Florence, Siena and Pisa in about one hour, even Lucca and Vinci just to mention the most famous cities of art of Tuscany.
Therefore our guests are use to visit the Tuscan coast : seaside resort like Costa degli Etruschi with Cecina, Baratti, San Vincenzo beaches, or Versilia coast with Marina di Pisa, Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio. All these marvelous places are far only one hour and fifteen minutes by car from our residence (Agritourismus) Belmonte. |

Era Valley
The Belmonte Farm holiday is situated on a hilly area at 270 mt. on the sea level, near Montaione - Florence; it overlook a view over Volterra and Era valley hills. When you will arrive it looks like time here has stopped, so that you will discover perfumes and flavors which are almost forgotten nowadays. You can spend one vacancy in the relax of the Tuscan countryside; to contemplate the typical landscape with its soft hills, olive-trees, the vineyards of the Chianti.
The quiet of your days is assured by pedestrian paths which are inside the village. It is possible to get near the flats with the car just across an outside route which links the buildings. Also this route, of course, is a typical Tuscan white street.

The Apartments of our Farm Holiday are larges, spacious, comfortable and furnished with the authentic Tuscan style. Our Holiday apartments are the expressions of happiness that our guest used to pronounce when they enter in our apartment.
Belmonte Residence has 29 different types of flats with different sizes: from the bigger quadri-flat (95 m²) to the smaller bilo-flat (45 m²). All the apartments are composed of an ample living room with a double bed couches, where you'll be able to watch TV-sat in relax, a kitchenette with electric cooks, dishwasher, fridge and all the necessary kitchenware (dishes, crockery etc…), from the comfortable and spacious bedrooms to the bathrooms with shower or bathtub. Our apartments are predisposed for a Internet Connection through a LAN net. During your holidays you'll have the possibility to use this service, it is necessary that your computer has a Lan net card.
COMFORT AND SECURITY
The lodgings have independent entrance, balcony or private terrace. These are structured to offer a discreet privacy also when you will decide to eat outside in the garden, under the lodge or on the balcony. They are also equipped with: anti-fire system, burglar alarm and TV-sat. All the apartments have heating system and air conditioning, with the possibility of temperature regulation in every room through a remote control you will pick up at our reception.
THE TUSCAN STYLE
The traditional Tuscan style is presents in every flats : terracotta floors, wooden beam ceiling, furnishing and trimmings in rustic style. Traditional materials have been used for the restoration work, with preference being given to natural materials in order to make homes as comfortable as they used make them years ago.
APARTMENTS TYPE
Bilo (persons 3+2) is about 45m² consists of one bedroom with one double bed, plus one single added bed, living room with a double bed couches, Tv-sat, Kitchenette and one bathroom.
Trilo (persons 4+2) is about 65m² constituted of one bedroom with one double bed plus one single added bed, one bedroom with two single beds, living room with a double bed couches, TV-sat, kitchenette and one bathroom.
Trilo plus (persons 5+2) is about 80m² consists of two bedroom with double beds and one single added bed, living room with a double bed couches, TV-sat, kitchenette and two bathroom.
Quadri (persons 6+2) is about 80m², composted of two bedroom with double beds and one bedroom with a single bed or one bed on a mezzanine floor (loft), living room with a double bed couches, Tv-sat, kitchenette, one bathroom with a shower and one with a bathtub.
