The apartment is in an ideal location for visiting unspoilt Northern Tuscany.Only 10 minutes by car to the Medieval Walled Town of Lucca and 15 minutes drive to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Part of an old stone 18th century village house,it is in the centre of the borgo of Santa Maria Del Guidice with a 13th century church.
The entrance is through a flower filled courtyard and up stone steps to the sunny terrace.Steeped in character with original chestnut beams,it has been tastefully refurbished to provide comfortable and modern accommodation.
It is a romantic and cosy cottage, with lots of books and thoughtful touches.
There are plenty of places to visit.. Florence,Siena,Volterra and the Cinque Terre are all a day's trip away.
Within the village there are shops, restaurents and a local bus to Pisa and Lucca.
The apartment is close to Pisa International Airport, where all major car hire firms are based. |

Apartment is 8klms (5 miles.-10 minutes drive ) to the Medieval Walled City of Lucca where there is a beautiful cathedral,an ancient Roman ampitheatre,lots of shops and bars and numerous piazzas to discover.
In the village of Santa Maria Del Giudice there 3 general grocery stores, a butcher, a chemist and a post office.3 excellent restaurents serving local dishes and pizzas are within 5 mins walking from Il Gelsomino.Also a tempting Pasticceria is open all day for coffee, pastries and homemade ice cream.
