A lovely new apartment in an area of Sardinia that is still mainly undiscovered, but has fantastic warm crystal clear seas and golden sandy beaches. The whole area is simply awesome. This is the place the Italians holiday. It’s got to be special.
It is an ideal apartment for couples and families taking a beach holiday, or groups of walkers, climbers and scuba divers enjoying there favourite pastimes.
The apartment enjoys stunning 270 degree views from the mountains above, right the way round to a very full open stretch of rugged coastline with many glorious beachy coves.
Situated in an excellent location in Cala Gonone in a quiet residential area only 10 minutes walk to the beach, bars and restaurants but far enough away to have a very peaceful nights sleep or quiet relaxing drink on the balcony.
The apartment is a fully furnished self catering apartment for up to 6 people but can easily sleep 7.
It comprises of two bedrooms, a large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, bathroom with shower, and balconies to three sides, adding space to the apartment and giving the fantastic panoramic views of the sea and the mountain crags.

It’s never been easier, with two of the low budget airlines, Ryan air and Easyjet, now flying into Sardinia on a daily basis.
Many UK airports fly to Sardinia but sometimes at a hefty cost. Nowadays it is possible to fly there for as little as £40 or £50. The budget airlines listed below certainly give excellent value for money.
London Stansted to Alghero Sardinia. Flight time is 2 hours 30 minutes at the most. The car journey from Alghero airport to Cala Gonone will also take about the same amount of time.
London Luton to Cagliari Sardinia. Flight time is 2 hours 30 minutes at the most. The car journey from Cagliari airport to Cala Gonone will also take the same.
London Gatwick to Olbia Sardinia. This flight time is 2 hours 30 minutes at the most. The car journey from Olbia airport to Cala Gonone will take about 1 hour 30 minutes.

The apartment is a fully furnished self catering apartment for up to 6 people but can easily sleep 7.
It comprises of two bedrooms, a large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, bathroom with shower, and balconies to three sides, adding space to the apartment and giving the fantastic panoramic views of the sea and the mountain crags.
The first bedroom is either a double or twin bedded room with a large chest of drawers to complement and leads onto the front balcony through french doors.
The second bedroom sleeps up to 3 with a single bed and a set of bunk beds again with drawer space, and again has french doors on the front balcony.
Outside the 2 bedrooms is the hallway which houses a huge 5 door wardrobe with more than enough room for everything.
The bathroom is located centrally between the bedrooms and the living areas.
The bathroom is fully tiled and of a generous size, with a large shower unit, toilet, bidet and basin area with a large mirror above.
The living area, with kitchen and dining area, opens out onto the side and rear balconies, bringing in the sea and mountains to your holiday home with the main side door, rear French doors and separate window. Outside there is a patio table and chairs to help in the enjoyment of the views.
The kitchen has everything that you could need, with plenty of pots, pans, plates, dishes, cutlery etc.
Tall integrated fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas hob, extractor fan, complemented with cupboard units below and wall units above.
The dining table for 4 can be opened out to seat up to 8 for a good socialising evening meal.
The lounge has two settees for relaxation and a small unit with television, satellite and music centre. The larger of the settees opens out into a really comfy double bed.
All the windows and doors are fitted with security, black out shutter blinds and the main entrance door has high spec security built in. Not that you need it here. The entrance to the apartment is up a single flight granite staircase from the road where there is a lockable gate and intercom system. |

Just to say that we had a brilliant time in Sardinia! We really liked the
flat and Cala Gonone - what a fabulous find, both the flat and the area!
We particularly enjoyed having brekfast and dinner on the balcony overlooking
the bay which was one of our highlights of the holiday. The surrounding
area was great for walking - which we managed to do on several occasions -
although hauling ourselves away from the beaches was sometimes a little
hard! I can also see why climbers love it out there.
You have found a couple of fans in us both.
